Today, before school, I wanted to try barspins. Even though I use both front and back brakes and do not have a gyro or something similar, my brake lines are long enough to do a full 360, so I went for it. Here is the result after ten minutes of trying them :
Do you have any tips on them ? My feet seem to fly off of the pedals, I don’t know why.
Hope’s lightweight Pro II rear disc hub represents the next evolution in hub design with performance and durability capable of handling your aggressive style.
The hub body is machined from a solid billet of 2014 T6 aluminum and features features 4 high-quality sealed cartridge bearings and a 6-bolt, ISO disc rotor mount.
The hub’s one-piece, 7075 aluminum freehub body has four pawls that engage the twenty-four tooth steel ratchet fixed into the hub shell and sealed with a frictionless, non-contact labyrinth seal. Sram/Shimano 9/10-speed compatible. Black, silver, blue, Gunsmoke, red or gold.
Blow a landing by sticking it flat? Smash your pedal body into a rock? Want to grind on some local steel rails? No problem. Syncros makes a pedal that can take it. Syncros Mental Pedals™ are the best Freeride and DH pedals money can buy. Period.
| Pedal bodiesThe Syncros Mental Pedals are available in investment cast Stainless Steel, investment cast CroMoly, and alloy versions. The steel bodies have a lifetime warranty and are intended for hardcore, do anything applications. Alloy model is competition oriented. All versions feature an ergonomically curved foot bed that maximizes pedal-foot contact.
Axles Every Mental Pedal axle is made from SNCM CroMoly material. This is the hardest axle material available. Bearings The axle is supported by the most advanced pedal axle bearing system on the market. The main load is handled by a 12mm needle bearing. This is supplemented by a 20mm split bearing and 2 additional cartridge bearings. |
| Replacement PinsThe replacement traction pins are the most aggressive available anywhere. Leg armor is required equipment with these pins. Available in two lengths the pins are soccer cleat style and are replaced using a 6mm wrench (the same as your disc brakes). Don’t slip a pedal without armor, these things will take meat. No joke.
Grease ports On the Stainless and CroMo versions the pins located along the axle also function as grease ports. Remove the pins, recharge the axle with grease and you’re good to go. Add more grease and you can control the amount of pedal rotation for no footers and stunts. Warning This pedal is designed for use with full leg protection and is intended for hardcore users only. DO NOT take this warning lightly. FEATURES

Up to nine inches of travel and race proven geometry, the Dare is bred to be a pure downhill machine. The new Dare is specific to the gravity set. It has a shallow “pointed down” geometry, lowered BB height and is capable of taking big hits and railing corners better than any Dare of the past. They tweaked the geometry, added a monocoque top tube and kept Ellsworth’s classic ICT suspension technology to give you the best downhill ride ever. The Dare accelerates and climbs faster than any DH bike on the circuit and has a geometry designed for consistent suspension performance so you’ll be smooth through the bumps, berms and jumps. The new Dare is a finely tuned missile for those interested in going downhill faster than anyone else.
